Privacy

The short version

Your photos are yours. We keep what’s needed to save your projects, we strip location data before anything is uploaded, AI suggestions only ever see a small preview, and deleting your account deletes everything.

What we store

• Your email address, to sign you in (by email link or Google).
• Photos you save as projects, and a small preview of each. Before upload, the app removes GPS location and all other metadata except basic camera details (camera make and model, lens, date taken, exposure, aperture, ISO, focal length and orientation).
• Your edit settings and edit history for each project, and any presets you save.
• A record of each AI suggestion you ask for (when, the text you typed, and whether it worked), used for your monthly limit.
• Your plan and subscription status, sent to us by our payment provider.

You can edit without an account; your photo then never leaves your browser. AI suggestions and saving need an account.

AI suggestions

When you ask for a suggestion, we send Anthropic (the maker of Claude) a reduced copy of your photo (about 1024 pixels on the long edge), some statistics about its colours and brightness, your current settings, and the text you typed. For a reference match we also send a reduced copy of the reference photo. Reference photos are never stored by us. The AI returns slider settings only; it never creates or changes pixels.

Verify before publishing: Anthropic’s current commercial terms on retention of API inputs and on not training models with them by default.

Payments

Subscriptions are sold by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles your payment details, invoices and sales tax. We never see your card number. We receive your subscription status, renewal date and a customer ID.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

• Deleting a project removes it and its stored photos immediately.
• Deleting your account (Account → Delete account) cancels your subscription, deletes all your photos, projects, presets and usage records, and removes your sign-in.

Service providers

Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Anthropic (AI suggestions) and Lemon Squeezy (payments). Verify before publishing: the hosting provider and the regions where data is stored.
